My Annoying Brother: My Rants about Kyungsoo's Acting

First of all, I have told you so many times before that I love Kyungsoo from EXO so much, and the second one, I have told you so many times that he is enrolling in a movie called Hyung or you can just call it as My Annoying Brother. This movie is aired in cinemas, especially CGV, since November 23rd 2016 if I'm not mistaken. 

They had done so many movie premiere greetings all around cinemas in Seoul, it hits more than 1 million views within 4 days from its release, and until December 2016, they successfully gain more than 3 million admissions. Such an amazing achievement!

You know, as a Kyungsoo stan, a certified Kyungsoo trash, I really am excited for this movie because Cho Jungsuk, the other main lead is my favourite actor ever. He has been enrolling in some dramas like Oh My Ghost and Jealousy Incarnate and I can conclude that those two dramas are my favourite dramas. Cho Jungsuk is known as an actor who can do well in the comedy-romance department, he is so fucking good you don't have idea.

When I heard that Kyungsoo will be the main lead actor in this movie together with Cho Jungsuk, my knuckles turned white, I had laboured breathing, I was balding, okay joke, but damn I was anticipating this movie since last year!

As you can read the plot I attached above, Kyungsoo will act as a national judo athlete who turns blind because an injury he's experiencing during a match. A blind Kyungsoo, it must be so tough for him! And he has to practice a lot to learn about judo, that's why he grows some muscles and he is becoming much more bulkier and bigger. When he is flexing his biceps I think I just died.

Okay, yeah, inspite of being released on November 23rd, My Annoying Brother is aired on December 21st 2016 in Indonesia. And only in CGV Blitz. And there is no CGV Blitz in my city. And I was crying because of that. And I lost my shit. 

I have three options regarding this matter:

1) I have to go to another city (Jogjakarta), 3 hours away from mine, and watch it in CGV Blitz there.

2) I have to wait until January because I'm planning to go to Jakarta after New Year, and I can watch the movie in CGV Blitz there!

3) I can just die waiting for someone out there to subs it and upload the movie to the internet, even though it's illegal.

After so much time meditating, I decided to do option number #1, because my younger sister has to go back to her dorm in Jogja to take some clothes and I have to accompany her. It's also because one of my friends said that Korean movies usually air for just 2-5 days in CGV Blitz, so yeah I can't wait until January. This thirst is real.

My sister and I went to the cinema at 6:30 PM and we arrived at around 7:00 PM. The last movie is aired at 7:10 PM and I was so scared if I didn't get the tickets. When my sister and I were queueing to get the tickets, my sister said, "Wow, it must be already sold out," and I was almost crying because fuck I can't imagine it, because if the tickets are all sold out, all efforts I've done are useless. I have to leave the city the day after in the morning so I can't go back to the cinema the next day and that night is my only chance.

But, good God, I got the tickets and I got comfortable seat! 

I will not give spoiler and tell you the whole story in detail either. Nope, you have to watch it by yourself. 

Cho Jungsuk is doing well with his role, and Kyungsoo is improving so much in acting department. He has tan skin when he's filming that movie and it makes him look so so so so hot. I have to grip my sister's clothes tight and I couldn't stop whispering to her how gorgeous Kyungsoo is. I am always so fond of Kyungsoo's acting skill. His voice is so deep and it gives you this chilly feeling. Like, I can spend my whole life listening to Kyungsoo's voice only! It's deep like that!

I can't help but tearing up because Cho Jungsuk and Kyungsoo can show us such a beautiful chemistry as brothers. Both of them look like each other and they look so similar. Cho Jungsuk is back at it again with his comedy acting skill and I can't help but keep laughing the whole time. Kyungsoo is being such a little brat to Cho Jungsuk there in the movie and they both look so cute.

The fact that this movie got more than 3 million admissions caught me off guard because Kyungsoo must be happy hearing this news. I remember he said to the magazine interviews that he really wants to retake his roles in every project he had all over again because he felt like he wasn't doing them well. He isn't satisfied with his acting. As we know, his previous movies Cart and Pure Love don't really do well in sales and I think that makes Kyungsoo insecure. I wanna cry so bad.

I will fight everyone who says that it's easy for an idol to act in a movie or drama. Kyungsoo starts from zero, and I'm sure he has learned a lot of things. He is trying to improve himself because acting is becoming one of his muses.

Remember when Jo Insung said, "Kyungsoo and I have a lot of scenes in the film, some people might suspect that he got many scenes because of EXO's fame, but Kyungsoo gives me a special (good) feeling, I was glad the director and producers found such a good actor like him. I would always feel very surprised when I film together with him."

Kyungsoo got hate comments A LOT, when he started his acting career. The hateful comments go along with can he just sing and don't act, he is there because he is EXO member, he is famour because he is from EXO, he is not good looking why he acts in a drama, he will leave EXO for acting, and etc. I'm disappointed, really, because idols are not restricted to singing, dancing, and rapping only. They will not forever be idols, they have to find for another muse to be able to live. Idol is literally a term for someone whom you idolize or look up to. For the most part, they sing, yeah. But are idols not allowed to act? Acting after all is just another platform of entertainment.  Stop putting it on such a high pedestal. That's like banning good dancers or visuals from entering idol groups. And that's also like telling those actors and actresses to stop singing and releasing songs. Idols have the rights to enrich their field of expertise, and we shouldn't judge them for what they do. About him leaving EXO, I told you, Kyungsoo had said it so many times that he will choose EXO no matter what. He loves to sing, he loves his fans. He said sorry so many times that he sometimes can't do some activities as EXO member because of his acting schedules. Remember when he went back and forth from Goheung to Seoul so many times to film Pure Love but he still can keep up with EXO activities and concerts? He is dedicated like that. If you fight me by saying of course he will do that it's his job afterall, he can just tell the manager that he can't possibly do the EXO activities because his hectic acting schedule, but yeah he still comes and he doesn't show his fatigue to us fans, and keeps smiling throughout the entire performance. He loves his job.

Kyungsoo breaks that sentiment about idols can't act well in drama or movie. I remember some producers complimenting Kyungsoo's acting in his movie and said that they had not even known Kyungsoo is originally an idol at first, they thought Kyungsoo is a rookie actor. In my opinion, that's such a huge praise coming from them. Some said Kyungsoo's eyes are so clear and so expressive, that's one of his advantages. 

Yun Jeong-ah, who acts as Kyungsoo's mom in movie called Cart, has even said that, "Kyungsoo is someone that deserve all the praises. He is good in acting and is also kind. He has all the qualification of being an actor and I can't find any bad points about him. I have personally seen him dancing and his expression acting is good. He has so many talents." I am so shookt.

I have mentioned this a lot already but yes I'm gonna bring this again. Kyungsoo's movie, Pure Love, only reached 300.000 admissions and it didn't fill the expectation. There were so many people saying that the movie is boring and has a really usual romance plot. The movie is coming from low budget company and I can't complain. Pure Love also had to compete againts Zootopia and Deadpool, also some Korean movies. In my opinion, this movie is good though, not to be biased, or maybe I'm just weak for sad story, I don't know, but Kyungsoo can expresses his love for Soohyun so much and it's really cute. It's a light movie that makes your heart warm, because the main character tries hard to make the main girl character happy. But I agree that the ending is so ugly, and it leaves you hanging, but once again, you win some, you lose some. There are ups and downs. Kyungsoo had gained good praises because of his previous projects like It's Okay It's Love, I Remember You, and Cart. And I hope by now, Kyungsoo can be more confident and be a better person (not that he is not a good person or anything, man he is perfect). Even the most successful actors around the world have had projects that didn't do as well as people hoped. Kyungsoo has proven everyone that he has potential. People say that it's disappointing for Pure Love to flop like that but I just want to say that not every movies with good actors/actresses can be ensured to make it huge in Box Office. Because Kyungsoo is from EXO, people set high expectation about the movie. But please, it's not because his acting, it's because the movie has usual plot and not so many Koreans like to watch this kind of genre in cinema. Man and A Woman by Gong Yoo and Jeon Do Yeon did worse than Pure Love, a movie in its same slot with the same melodrama genre. Another Pure Love's competitor, Like for Likes, is doing average too for a movie with Yoo Ah In and CJ as its distributor. So yeah, it's not because of his acting. But damn, Kyungsoo feels insecure about this one.

When he was doing Be Positive webdrama premiere, one of the journalists asked Kyungsoo whether his webdrama can surpass 30 million views and Kyungsoo was like, how to say, feeling sad again, and you can see his expression that he feels doubt and insecure, he doesn't want to make a promise like what he did in Pure Love movie premiere. Kyungsoo then answered that he won't promise anything and he isn't sure whether Be Positive can surpass his former EXO member, Minseok's webdrama, Falling for Challenge. I was so sad at that time because Kyungsoo seems so doubtful of himself. When I heard that Be Positive ranks #1 in Naver Cast Webdrama and successfully surpassing almost 50 million views, I'm so so so happy because Kyungsoo doesn't have to be worried anymore because many people watch his webdrama. I'm so proud of him.

And then with his newest movie My Annoying Brother, which had been surpassing 3 million admissions, I feel so happy for him. He can do well in this movie and the admissions also do well. He also improves his acting skill a lot and he got so many praises from many producers and actors, actresses, and netizens. He will be enrolling in a movie named With God and Room Number #7 that will be aired in 2017. He also dubbed as a dog named Moongchi in an animation movie called Underdog. I hope he will also do well in those movies and I hope he is happy with everything he has done. I hope those movies do well in Box Office and I hope 2017 will be good to Kyungsoo and also for all of EXO members.

Review: EXO 2016 Winter Special Album - For Life

If months ago I wrote my very first review ever, about EXO 3rd Full Album EX'ACT, now I'm going to write a review about EXO newest winter album, For Life. I'm sorry to inform you that this is going to be a Kpop Area all over again, just because. 

EXO members are already busy enough with all of those EXO'rDIUM concerts, and they made a Japanese comeback recently with Coming Over. I just want them to take a rest, spending their christmas with their family, but they decided to surprise us again with a winter album that has been released on December 19th 2016.

Frankly speaking, I'm not surprised that EXO will release another winter album this time, because they alway release winter album since 2013. But I'm still dead nevertheless. Winter will always be hot if they do this every year.

EXO's 1st winter album is Miracles in December (MID), which was released on December 9th 2013. It has two versions, as always, Korean and Chinese version. It consists of 6 songs and Miracles in December is the title of the main track for comeback. This album is so lit, the Music Video for MID is also so sad and so angst, and I kinda miss the comeback because EXO still had 12 members at that time. It's okay, never accept rejection as failure. Look at the album cover!

This album has a really cute concept. They performed with suspenders, and fans call this as suspenders era. But I still don't understand with those ugly hair they pulled out on the teaser pictures. Like, what the hell? And why are they closing their eyes? I don't have any idea. Because it's EXO, I let hem pass.

EXO didn't make a winter album comeback on 2014, maybe because at that time, there were so many things going on, for your information, EXO had lost 2 members in the same year, and I think that's why SMent didn't release a winter album. It's okay. At least they can get more time to repent and take a rest. It was such a gloomy year for EXO and fans, so yeah I understand.

EXO's 2nd winter album is Sing For You (SFY), which was released on December 10th 2015. It also has Korean and Chinese version, and consists of 5 songs. People especially fans really welcomed this album because it was two years since the last time they did a winter comeback. I definitely love this album, and SFY is such a really sad song and the Music Video is also sad. I told you, EXO will never have a happy christmas songs. I'm fine and contented.

This album also pulls a weird concept, but still cool at the same time. There is an astronaut facing a really huge whale in an outer space (as you can see above, it's the cover of the album). 

Fans started to make so many theories about the meaning of this concept. People said, that huge whale is a really rare species in the world, called a 52-hertz whale. It is an individual whale of unidentified species, which calls at the very 52-hertz frequency. It has been described as the world's loneliest whale. It sings a song like no other. Some say it wanders alone across the Pacific Ocean, crying out for companionship that never comes.

What a beautiful concept, indeed. Oh, and don't forget about the teaser pictures! They look so flawless, and so so hot. But, look at those fake snowflakes. I'm impressed.

Okay, now we hop onto the main topic, EXO's 3rd winter album, For Life!

As always, SMent surprised us with something different in every year. This year, they drop a really nice and aesthetic picture of 9 ice cubes in a transparent glass. The thing is, those ice cubes look like snowflake, and it actually reads EXO. EXO has 9 members, therefore they put 9 ice cubes there inside the glass. Excellent!

I'm going to state my opinions about these teaser pictures of every member! I'm excited!

They released the teaser pictures with two members in every picture. Because EXO has 9 members, an odd number, SMent decided to combine Baekhyun teaser pictures with the cover of the physical album. Baekhyun looks so aesthetic, and so cool. He looks like he is posing for a magazine. I like how he looks down and stares at his hands so we can see his perfect left-side face. He looks so gorgeous, what should I do :(

Okay, we have Jongdae (left) and Junmyeon (right) here in the teaser picture. Look at Jongdae's perfect highlight and eyebrows! He has a really beautiful pair of eyebrows. And wow that haircut though, so damn perfect. I love his facial expression so much, he looks so serene looking at his right like that. He looks to the right because we left. #badumtss

With Jongdae's close angle, now we can look at Junmyeon who calmly sits on a desk? I don't know what is that, but look at his far-away look expression! He seems troubled but hot at the same time and I love his pair of shoes. Are those socks am I seeing???

Wow, next one is Jongin (left) and Yixing (right) teaser picture! I personally love Jongin teaser so much because the director took it with a perfect angle, and damn I'm trembling!!! Jongin seems to love this pose so much because he always does this pose in every individual teaser. He knows he is attractive. I love how he looks straight to the camera with that solemn expression and the camera seems to focus on his face and blurs his sweater. Such a beautiful sight to ever happen in my life. His shoulder covers his lips so it leaves us with this mysterious feels? Or is it just me?

Yixing, the King of China! Damn, that wild haircut and that cute pose. He looks warm with that sweater and look at those long sleeves that cover both of his hands! For real though, where can I get the sweater? Oh, I love his stay-still standing pose, and he looks to the left because we don't treat him right. #StopNuha2k16 #YixingAppreciationPost

Can we talk about how hot Sehun (left) and Chanyeol (right) here in the picture? Sehun had his hair blonde when he did this photoshoot and not to be overly dramatic but he looks so so so young and gorgeous. He has perfect line for eyebrows, so sharp and straight. Look at those manly hands, he looks like he is about to choke himself by pulling out his neck sleeve like that. He is handsome, he can do anything he wants.

Chanyeol.......I don't know, I have conflicted feelings about his curly hair. The hair stylists did him dirty this time. The same like Sehun, Chanyeol looks so young here. I love his expression here, he looks straight to the camera and he seems like he is about to ask for a duel. He wanna fight me. Challenge accepted.

The last one, is Minseok (left) and Kyungsoo the Great (right) teaser picture! Minseok really impresses me with that pose! How can he do that? He lays down on that desk and look at to the camera??? How rude??? He has brown hair this time, and he also looks so young here I give up. Those lips! Shit! 

Okay. Bear with me this time. Not to be overy dramatic and sensitive, but PLEASE LOOK AT KYUNGSOO THE GREAT PICTURE. God, he looks so tempting, and so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How dare he to do that to me? First, I want to thank the director to choose this perfect picture. Or art? Yes, art! He looks to the ceiling or what, the fuck man. Second, his jaw, look at his jaw! I will admit that I couldn't stop staring at this picture when it was released. I was so so so emotional, and so enchanted. He looks so beautiful here. I 11/10 love his facial expression. He looks up because we bring him down. Okay maybe I have to stop with the joke. But please, tattoo this beauty on your mind. Third, look at that adam apple, and that slender neck. Look at those lips! Okay okay stop, please stop I have to stop! But I feel like touching that jaw and see if my hands bleed after that. Just curious.

Different from previous albums, For Life album only has one version but consists of two CDs, Korean and Chinese version. As for your information, year-end award events are getting nonsense in determining the winner criteria. I forget which one, but one of music company, decided to count EXO album separately. They will count the Chinese album sale separately. I mean, this is not an issue last year, and years before that. But why now? Salty much? 

SMent is being smart here for combining both of the albums and coming out from the comfort zone to proof everyone that EXO will still be fine with one version of album. 

For Life album consists of two CDs and each CD consists of 5 songs. Let's begin!

1) For Life

This song is mainly about a sincere guy promising his one and only love for life. It has a really touching meaning, like how a guy wants to make his lover happy and all. Never gonna let you go, giving you my heart and soul. I see this song as a song dedicated from EXO to fans who have been there and stay with EXO all these time, shit I'm getting cheesy. For Life is a romantic pop ballad song driven by beautiful piano and strings, that talks about love that never changes. This song starts with a really beautiful piano sound, that will lull you to sleep. It's so beautiful, and sad. Baekhyun sings the first part, followed by Chanyeol. Can we just open forum group discussion about Chanyeol's voice in the start of the song? He does an improvisation and that is so beautiful. He improves a lot in singing. Not to be biased but I'm addicted to Kyungsoo singing giving you my heart and soul, starts from minute 2:10 until 2:20. He sounds so perfect, all of them sound so perfect. I always love Kyungsoo the Great's voice, so I almost cried when I listen to this song for the first time. That's so close. I'm very upset that Sehun only gets 2-3 seconds of singing parts. He deserves more than that. I also get addicted at chorus part when Baekhyun sings never gonna let you go, because the piano starts to sound sharp and precise, this is difficult to explain (just listen to minute 2:55). Oh don't forget Kyungsoo sings the last part of the song and HE IS FUCKING HUMMING IN THE END OF THE SONG AND I JUST SNAPPED. It's so rude, Kyungsoo. You just killed me, like, 99 times. Bravo! 

And then, let's talk about the Music Video. It is also so sad. Only three members being featured in the MV; Jongin, Junmyeon, and Chanyeol.  You have no idea how messy my Twitter timeline is when the news came. There are so many individual solo stans here, so people start to complain why only three members being featured in the MV. I mean, if you say you stan EXO, you should have stanned all of the members though, and not being selfish by not wanting to watch the MV because your bias isn't there. That's like, so so so immature. How dare you to ignore the art aka For Life MV. Jongin looks so hot but I don't have idea why the hell he wears bad boy clothes here in the MV. It doesn't fit the plot. Junmyeon is so gorgeous here even when he just sleeps there in the forest, and Chanyeol shows us his perfect acting skill. He almost kissed the girl in the MV! That's such a close call! 

With a really packed schedule, I'm wondering when the fuck did they film the MV and record for the album. I'm becoming worried because they are busy as hell, and they still have time to film and did album photoshoot. I don't understand. Oh yeah, they don't make life performance for For Life because year-end events are so packed, so they don't have time to sing it life. I'm sad, but happy at the same time. 

2) Falling For You

This song is different with For Life who pulls a really sad theme, Falling For You sounds so happy and cheerful. It's healing your wound after you listen to For Life. This song is famous for the ooh ah ooh ah, ooh ah ooh ah part, you have to listen to it for you to understand what I mean because I sound so stupid describing it like this without you listening to the song HAHAHA. Chanyeol once again hits me hard with his singing voice. Kyungsoo sings the first part of this song and Jongin following right after. This is such a happy song! Sehun's yeah girl, come on makes me bald. 

3) What I Want For Christmas

Winter album and christmas can't be separated for real. This song is so beautiful, so R&B and you know what? If I say R&B then I mean Kyungsoo, because his voice really fits for R&B songs. Jongdae, the lead vocalist of EXO, starts the song with a really beautiful voice, when he pronounces christmas, I just snapped. After that, Kyungsoo sings his parts. I don't want to be lame or anything but when his voice appears on minute 00:18, I cried, I literally cried, tears ran down on my cheeks and I can't stop whimpering because his voice is so so so beautiful, and calming. And the sound of the R&B vibe doesn't help at all. Until now, I can't keep calm everytime he sings those part, I thank you, hangsang, you babe, teukbyeolhan seonmureun piryo eopseo, cuz you, you’re the one I want for christmas. He did that! It also doesn't help me to keep calm when Kyungsoo says yeah, in minute 1:32!!!!!!!!! He just says yeah and I lost my shit! Okay, move on. I love how Jongdae, Junmyeon, Kyungsoo, and Baekhyun complement each other's voice by adding some adlibs here and there. It's so perfect. Another favourite part is when Kyungsoo hits a highnote at minute 2:22. Gosh, I love Kyungsoo so much.

4) Twenty Four

I thought this is Hotline Bling by Drake because the start of the song sounds the same??? Shit I shouldn't drake and drive next time. I got really shocked because this is actually a really hiphop song??? After What I Want For Christmas??? I was shookt! Jongin's voice sounds so perfect here and he gets so many singing lines. It's mainly about them singing you are my twenty four on repeat until they die. Okay, joke. Sehun and Minseok voices are so clear here and my cutiepie Sehun gets many singing lines here and I'm so happy :') You can even hear his lisp and it is so cute??????? My favourite part is Chanyeol singing in minute 1:01, it is so lit man he raps like a mad man, a hot one. I'm so shookt with every part of this song. Twenty Four's beat is like that kind of beat you hear from rapping program Show Me The Money. Don't forget Jongin doing adlibs in minute 3:04 and singing nanana nanana oh oh at minute 3:25 and that's so lit my ass burns. Also Minseok ends the song with twenty four, twenty four, twenty four, yeah perfectly! He is pretty much ending every fangirls' life too.

5) Winter Heat

The song turns to be slower again, not upbeat like before, but still slay nevertheless. The reff part sounds more upbeat and cheerful than the rest of the song. Kyungsoo does adlibs in the very first part of the song, and I can feel shiver ran down my spine. Good God. He also sings the first part, I'll be waiting for ya, waiting for ya. Chanyeol then raps perfectly with that heavy voice of his. Jongdae sings the reff part together with Baekhyun. If I think about it, my favourite part is when they sing han beon deo, ttatteushage anajwo. Don't forget Sehun raps in minute 1:35 and I can't help but feeling overwhelmed because this boy sure is precious. Kyungsoo also does adlibs so many times starts at minute 2:41, and man I'm so in love. Baekhyun also does a lot of adlibs. EXO vocals are no joke.

Overall, every single song in this album is worth listening. Anyway, if you want to download all of the songs, come here! I love all of the songs, and as always, if I'm being asked to list from most fave song until less fave song, I'm gonna answer:

For Life - What I Want For Christmas - Twenty Four - Winter Heat - Falling For You

I like For Life the most because it gives me chill everytime I listen to it, and mainly because I'm weak for ballad and angst songs. I less fave Falling For You because, I don't know, it's good but yeah, still can't beat the other 4 songs. The conclusion: dead.

EXO's 100th Concert!

EXO third world tour concert, EXO'rDIUM is officially started on July 2016, and today's Osaka concert is EXO's 103th concert since May 23, 2014. Time flies so fast, sure thing. 

But I can't help but feeling emotional. 

EXO had done 30 concerts for their first world tour concert, The Lost Planet, back then in 2014. They had 44 concerts for their second world tour, EXO'luXion. And then they had done 29 concerts for EXO'rDIUM (so far). 

They had EXO'rDIUM in Osaka from December 9th 2016 until December 11th 2016. They must be exhausted so much, I don't know whether they are even humans. This Osaka concert marks the ending of EXO'rDIUM in 2016, but I anticipate for so many concerts next year on 2017! I hope they will hold EXO'rDIUM in Jakarta. please. I need to see Kyungsoo dancing to Artificial Love. 

Millior dollar question: How much bucks does SMent get from all of those concerts?

Mnet Asian Music Awards 2016: EXO Got Daesang!

Lol, I honestly think that my blog is becoming an EXO fanpage for real, seeing the amounts of EXO dedication posts I've written on this blog but fuck it all I'm going to do this forever because EXO needs to be appreciated and this is one of the ways I can do. Growing up together with EXO since 2012, my affection for them is increasing day by day I don't even know why. Maybe because I saw their hardworks since debut until now, seeing them going through such a rough phase, i.e Wuyifan, Luhan, and Tao leaving, some members had injury, fainted at airport, getting chased by sasaeng, dating rumours, etc. Wow EXO had went through so much, like so much, and I can't help but feeling so touched. Okay, cut the crap I have something important to tell you all!

Like I've stated on my blog post here, EXO is going to attend Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2016, an annual music award event held by Mnet. I was so excited and nervous like always, but this year it's different because I put so much efforts than last year. There are so many good competitors and I really want EXO to win in every nominations they are in, those are Best Male Group, Best Dance Performance Group, Best Collaboration, Artist of The Year, and Album of The Year. 

I voted everyday using some different personal accounts and I also asked my friends to vote for EXO. For your information, I don't even vote for EXO in the previous MAMA because I'm fake as fuck. I thought that voting is useless because it only takes 20% of the judging criteria, I know man, that's such a big mistake. I should have voted for EXO no matter what.

Okay, yeah, MAMA 2016 was being held on December 2nd 2016, started at 6 PM KST until 12 PM KST. Red carpet started at 6 PM KST but EXO came at 5:40 PM KST I am super calm and contented. They wore Givenchy and Prada in 2014 and 2015, but now they wore Saint Laurent :) EXO is expensive, we can't afford them, we don't deserve them, we are peasants.

EXO members being gorgeous is such an understatement. THEY DEADASS LOOKED SO GOOD AND HANDSOME AND MANLY AND AMAZING BUT Kyungsoo still looked small as always. But slay. They all look so expensive, look like half vampire and half demigods who wander around the earth to kill fangirls, including me. Friendly reminder that Jongin wore contacts :) Damn :)

Okay so while red carpet event was being conducted, fans have to tweet "EXO #MAMARedCarpet" to win Best Asian Style award. I deadass tweeted non-stop and tried hard to beat BTS and GOT7 tweets. Such a huge competitors, I sweat a lot. 

EXO won the award and I was so so so happy and look at EXO members being shocked and surprised. And there was Kyungsoo being lost, he was literally serving a what the hell happened what is this what is that look. Chanyeol kept clapping and laughing, and Jongdae was jaw-dropping. I love EXO, I love meme. 

Even when they didn't win the Best Dance Performance award, I'm still proud of them, I still appreciate Jongin and all of the members. I'm just a little bit sad because I remember Jongin feeling so happy at Melon Music Awards because they won the same award, and Jongin was the one giving the speech and I was so so so touched. Don't blame me, how to not be soft for Kim Jongin.

Thank God they won Best Male Group, the same award they snatched on MAMA 2015. I was jumping on my seat when the MCs announced their name! Look at Kyungsoo The Great he looked bright and excited as well.

The most awaited performance; Dream by Baekhyun and Suzy was so lit. The song was released on January but both of them did the live performance just now in December. Full offence but Baekhyun looked so cute being awkward around Suzy. Maybe he heard Lee Minho cracking his knuckles in the back of his mind. They won in Best Collaboration award and when they went from their seats to the stage, Baekhyun walked ahead of Suzy and that was so so funny because Junmyeon told Baekhyun to stop and wait for Suzy. 

Later that night, all of the members were making fun on the way Baekhyun held Suzy's hand. Baekhyun is no joke.

I waited EXO to perform for hours for God's sake. MAMA 2016 always said EXO will be coming up next, forever, but I know EXO will actually come out 5 minutes before the event ends. I know it's the thing Mnet does. Mnet decided to invite Timbaland and Wiz Khalifa, and friendly reminder that EXO performed AFTER those two great and amazing musicians. I was surprised and felt dumbstrucked because EXO was actually performing last. I was so touched, damn why I always feel touched and shit.

At first, the lights on the venue went off, and there were so many people coming to the stage, like so many, wearing black robe, a light-in-the-dark choker, and being all mysterious. My sister was like hey it's EXO and I was jawdropping, I was scared I almost peed in my pants (okay joke) and I fucking rolled on floor in front of my TV. There was this scary background song playing meanwhile those people in black robe starting to gather on the stage. And then, those people crouched down on the stage, AND THEN ALL OF EXO MEMBERS STOOD IN THE CENTER OF THE STAGE AND THAT WAS SO SO SO COOL I SWEAR TO GOD!!!

After that, the VCR was playing. It was so so so cool! The VCR told us about EXO who are aliens from other planet and they are trying to sneak in to the Earth but they have to go pass this machine thingy you usually find at the airport. In the VCR, that machine will detect whether you are human or no. All of EXO members are not humans, so they have to wear the choker. Jongin wore the green choker and the rest of the members wore red choker. They used choker in a whole new level.

And then after the awesome VCR ended, they performed Transformer! It's one of EXO songs from EXODUS album last year. They usually perform it in EXOrdium so yeah it was such a breathtaking performance to see! They danced on the stage who can lift up and down, wow so cool. They performed above everyone else.

I couldn't breathe peroperly because they all wore thick leather jacket and Kyungsoo The Great looked so good and so so nice I have to close my eyes. Kyungsoo The Great sang his part so clearly and beautifully, not to be biased, all of the members did it beautifully.

After it finished, the stage went down and the lights went dark again. After that, the lights were all on Jongin and Sehun who stood in the center of the stage and they did dance-break! I was a little bit disappointed because Yixing didn't join. Maybe because there was no time for three of them to practice. But then again, I don't even have idea when did Jongin and Sehun practice the dance-break because we all know that EXO is so busy with the amounts of concerts and individual activities.

In the end of their dance-break, Jongin and Sehun threw their chokers hard to the ground. The funny thing is, later, there is this one video of both of them discussing about something in their seats. Jongin looked like he was asking for advice from Sehun, and Sehun said something about throwing the chokers to the ground. They talked animatedly and now I still think about that moment. They are so cute offstage, and turn to be demigods on stage. 

Can you still believe they are the youngest ones in EXO??????

After that, they performed Monster and did it flawlessly. Jongdae did the highnote perfectly and Kyungsoo The Great did his yeah 4x part beautifully. I love their performance so much no kidding. The fanchant was also so loud, it made me having goosebump for real! AND THEN BAEKHYUN DID DANCE-BREAK ALONE. I repeat; a l o n e. Jongin had said it, Baekhyun's dancing skill is getting better and better.

EXO performed last, so after that, the MCs started to announce the winner of Song of The Year, Artist of The Year, and Album of The Year. Friendly reminder that these 3 awards are daesangs, the highest award amongts all. I have guessed that Twice will get Song of The Year award because their song, Cheer Up, is like Korean national anthem, everyone always sings it everyday. I deadass wished for EXO to get the Artist of The Year award and Album of The Year award because EXO never gets Artist of The Year award (Big Bang got it last year), and EXO album EX'ACT is so lit.

Honestly, I was so sad when they didn't get Artist of The Year award. Scratch that, I was so sad and emotional. Look at their faces when they waited for the MCs to announce the winner of that award :( They seemed wanting so much to get this one award :( I feel not hard working enough to make it happen :( I am sorry EXO :( Let's work harder :(

Thank God they won Album of The Year Award<3

I felt so emotional once again because Album of The Year award is usually being announced after Song of The Year award. But this year, they announced Album of The Year award in the very last. I saw some comments from Netizens, that maybe because it was EXO who got it, that's why Mnet put that award last. Thank you.

I cried when they gave speech. The cameraman zoomed in to Jongin's teary eyed face and my heart snapped, I started to cry. I felt so lame, and maybe you can call me lame, but I was so touched. Kyungsoo The Great smiled so bright and his serene face made me cried more. Yixing gave speech in Chinese, I don't know what was he talking about but he said it with power and the fans started to cheer and I guessed it was a nice speech. Later I found out that Yixing talked about a Chinese idiom about old people will stay at the peak or something. Please understand that I believe Yixing never meant to offend anyone, he was just stating that the elder idols will always be remembered, like example, Sechs Skies who is still going strong even after long time hiatus. Please believe in EXO.

EXO got the same award last year. They got Album of The Year award for 4 consecutive years and I'm so proud of them. First for XOXO album, second one for Overdose album, the third one for EXODUS album, and the 4th one for EX'ACT album. I hope they will keep this achievement in the future as well. 

Oh, yeah, don't forget about how Junmyeon received the award from year to year. He always bowed and gazed down, and is always being so polite. I love him. They stay humble and it feels like they got daesang for the first time all over again.

They didn't forget to bow to the audience after giving the speech. I love them so much. And please note that when they were leaving the stage, Yixing was the one who stayed and bowed multiple times to the audience and then ran to the members. 

Also, don't forget when all of the artists were going on stage to wave at the audience, EXO waited for all of the artists to leave and bowed to them, and then they held hands together and bowed 90 degree to the audience. EXO was the last artist to leave the stage and I feel emo all over again somebody please tuck me to bed now.

The conclusion is; I love EXO. 

There are so many boy groups out there but I can't seem to move on from EXO. Not to be overly dramatic, but they deserve to get awards and cookies for being my life ruiners since forever. They keep thanking fans for being there for them and Baekhyun always says in every speech that EXO will not get those awards if there are no fans to help them. In my opinion, EXO has done pretty much nothing in 2016, without EXO-Ls by our side we can't get this award, Baekhyun said in his speech earlier. They keep thanking the fans and always ask us to stay and always be by their side. So cheesy but I'm still dead nonetheless.

So yeah, I hope they get daesangs in another music events as well. Pray begin.
