Köln: Checked!

Adios amigos!

The last time I blogged here, it was about my trip to München, Germany. Now, continue with the next trip, me and Fravista's schedule is: Monday, March 7th 2016 23:55 PM from München ZOB (München) to Leverkusen Mitte (Köln)!

Köln is a 4th biggest city in Germany after Berlin, hamburg, and Munich/München. It's about 9 hours ride using FlixBus again (we love FlixBus!) and we slept all night in the bus. The bus is really comfortable, the heater works so well so you don't need to worry about freezing to death. The weather is really cold as always. What do you expect, man, it's winter!

We went from the South Germany to the North! I really remember when that time I opened my Snapchat (id: nuhapls) and the location detection told me that we were passing Frankfurt and Bonn. Lucky me, even though I didn't go exploring Frankfurt, at least I was there. On the bus. Bye.

Okay so we reached Köln at 09:00 AM in the morning. As usual, we looked for the ticket machine to buy the transportation ticket for 1 day. And as usual, we didn't know how to operate the machine because there are so many options to buy ticket. We ended up just looking at the couple in front us who were taking control of the machine.

Maybe because my face looked so pathetic, the man of the couple looked back on us and asked, "Do you want me to help you buying the ticket?"

I swear, my face brightened up so quick. People are so kind.

I told the man that me and Vista need all-day ticket for two persons and he nodded. He did something with the machine and told us to just put the money inside the machine. After that, the couple smiled and we thanked them. Finally, tickets: done.

We went to Köln Hauptbahnhof or you can call it as Köln Central Station because it provides us with luggage cabin. We went there and decided to take a rest, cleaning ourselves, and other things including eating. We basically ate breads everyday.

Before the project ended, we were planning to meet Franzi, my team leader, my mom from Germany! We decided to wait for Franzi near the central station. We decided to take a walk, and when we were going out from the central station, what did I find?

This!

It is so damn huge like reaaaally huge. There are so many cool buildings here in Germany, the historical ones. I was freezing so much, the weather was really bad at that time so I was lazy to take pictures of me in front of the building. And I didn't take many photos of this building because my fingers were frozen, I couldn't feel anything, my whole body was numb. By the way, the name of the building is Katedral Köln if I'm not mistaken................slap me.

We decided to take a sit in the bench near the katedral and wait for Franzi. I enjoyed my McDonald cheese burger and banana milk (BEST DRINK I'VE EVER TASTED) while staring at the birds. Sounds so emotional. Me and Vista played around with the birds, they tried to steal my burger!

We also entered Kölner Dom, it's so huge. Like I said before, everything is huge here. Finally we met Franzi and we hugged again! It had been 2 days since the last time I said goodbye to her back then in Prague. Okay, so She brought us to walk around this bridge where people usually put a padlock with their names written on it to the fence of the bridge. Like you can see at Namsan Tower, South Korea. It's really cute!

And then in the middle of talking, Franzi suddenly said, "Come on guys, I will show you the most amazing and coolest shop in Köln!"

I really don't have any idea what kind of shop did Franzi mean. We walked for around 20 minutes and we reached the area with so many shops along the street. Wow! The shop is really cool, it's literally the coolest shop I've ever seen.

Germany is popular with the festival, and Köln also has tradition to hold festivals every year. Unfortunately, the spring festival had been hold on February so I couldn't attend any festival there :c People will wear unique costumes and be whatever they want! So this shop sells all of the properties, accessories, costumes, basically everything you need for a festival.

There are so many cute stuffs and I tried them one by one, it was really fun. I don't want to leave :( I hope I can go there again someday and buy the dinosaur pajama-like costume.

You can ignore the last picture because I admit it myself that I look annoying enough to make you close this tab. Kidding, I'm swag. Horse power!

After so much fun trying every stuffs in the coolest shop, we went to Imhoff-Schokoladen Museum which is heaven for me as a chocolate addict. Like literally. It's a chocolate museum so there were so many students visitting it and also we can see how chocolates are made with our own eyes. This place is heaven, everything smells like chocolate.

There is a chocolate fountain and we can get a wafer with chocolate for free and it's really delicious. I want to ask for more but I have my pride. #Get #Out

There is also chocolate souvenir shop inside the museum so we can buy every type of chocolate, from milk chocolate, dark chocolate, they even have chocolate beer. I bought some German chocolates because my sisters are asking for it.

The next destination, Franzi brought us to one of her favourite restaurants named Früh, if I'm not mistaken, and I tried Pretzel for the first time in my entire life AND IT TASTED SO SALTY like you. Why you gotta be salty my dear food. I had to remove the big pieces of salt from it and then ate it happily. I give a score 9/10.

And also I tried the beer with 0% alcohol, because I want to know how does beer taste like but I can't drink alcohol. So that's fair enough. Honestly, I don't like it because it tasted so bitter, like not usual bitter beer, but really though it's so bitter I have to hold my breathe everytime I'm gulping down the drink. I need milk!

Damn, I want to eat Pretzel again.

After so much talking and chatting in the restaurant, I don't know but I think we spent 3 hours there, and after that we went to drink something in McCafe at 9 PM, and then we went to Central Station again to take my luggages and we said goodbye to Franzi because she had to catch a 10 PM train from Köln to Bochum, her hometown. I hope someday I can visit Bochum and give back the pink Bochum University pen Franzi left in the intern room :p

I was so tired but it's all worth it.

See you until the next post, buddies.

München: Checked!

Hohoho I'm excited to tell you my Europe trip experience I got after I finished my internship back then in Czech Republic last month. Somehow I'm happy that some people bother to drop by my blog. Are you a stalker or one of my friends? #Nuha #Please #Get #A #Hold #of #Yourself #Bye

Okay, my EDISON Project finished on Friday, March 4th 2016. After the project ended, me and my team went straight to Prague to meet the other two teams and we decided to book a hotel for two days and spend our last time together in the city. Skip skip. (Maybe I will make this a post later, bruh).

"Don't say goodbye, but 'see you again.'"

I really remember how Yntymak (my Kyrgyz mommy slash dad slash bro) always reminded me and the other people to not saying goodbye. It's true, because we don't know, maybe God will let us to meet again in the future? Maybe I will bump onto one of the project members when I buy milk in supermarket? #What

Sooooo the point is, our 'separation moment' is always be the hardest amongts all. I remember how I always cried in silent (IN SILENT) everytime I hug them one by one. Like...man, I never cry when I say goodbye to people. Like ever. It means I love you guys!

Everyone is leaving one by one, and the second last ones are me and Vista, my fellow Indonesian friend. I remember how she always cried a bucket for so long and everyone was like ey Vista how much tears do you have why you always cry haha. It's okay, it's okay. What the shit now I miss her.

Me and Vista decided to go to München, Germany after the project. We booked the bus ticket days before. So yeah, our schedule is: Sunday, March 6th 2016 23:55 PM from UAN Florenc (Prague) to München ZOB (München)!

Me and Vista used Flix Bus because it's good. (No shit Sherlock it was because it fits our budget, train ticket is more expensive, our college student soul is burning).

But it was literally 9/10 if I have to give score to it. Our bus looks like the picture above, and we always liked to sit on the second floor because Indonesia doesn't have a commercial bus like that, we have it but it's mainly for tourism purpose.

We arrived at München ZOB on Monday, March 7th 2016 at 07.00 AM in the morning. We totally slept all night in the bus for 7 hours. After that, we looked for the locker room there and after 2 hours rest and eat something there, we walked around to find the ticket machine.

We have to buy the all-day ticket so that we can take the tram. As you know, Europe countries have integrated transportaion; you only need to buy 1 ticket for every transportation including tram, metro, bus, etc. We asked so many people whether they can help us to operate the ticket machine but some of them can't speak English. But thank God, there was a lady who helped us to buy the tickets and she also told us how to get here, how to get there, how to use the ticket, where is the recommended place, wow she is such an angel.

First visit was.....Allianz Arena!

It's such a great place, so huge! I was a fan of Bayern München and Thomar Müller back then when I was young. He's so inspirational. And. Handsome. Haha. Blame my girl instinct! But unfortunately, the stadium was closed because there was a private event being held inside the stadium so we can't enter :( I'm so sad. Pass me the tissue, please.

It's a little bit far from the stadium to the tram station, plus I need to pee so bad. After that, we went to Marienplatz, the famous town square in München! There were so many people, either tourists or local citizens. I don't know what's the function of this building below, but it's such a breathtaking view, I feel like I'm taking photo in the studio. There are so many shops, malls, florists (I told you there are so many florists in Europe), bakeries, and others. You might also like to enjoy sipping your cup of coffee while staring at people walking by.

Honestly, me and Vista were confused about what places should we visit. So for those who want to go on vacation, please kindly check internet first for research, not like me. Vista is my only source. She is my navigation.

After 'warming' ourselves inside the mall and using the wifi for research, we went to Königsplatz. This is hard to type without Google whoops. We have to ask people and walk around, and sometimes we have to change bus, or sometimes we were like where are we now oh shit whatever. AHAHAHA.

We kind of tired searching for another place to visit and we accidentally found Nymphenburg Palace because it looked so huge from afar so we can find it easily. Fiuh, but we have to walk again to get closer to the palace!

It's so huge, and I really love the garden because it's so wide, and there is a small lake in front of the palace. But we didn't enter the palace because we are too tired to walk. My bad.

After so much walking and asking and randomly sitting on a bench, we decided to go to Olympia because the map said it's a location for the olympiade that was being held years ago. I was so excited at that time. After we went to Olympia.....we only got to the mall. We were too tired to find for the stadium so we were chilling inside the mall for hours for the sake of wifi and then we went back to München ZOB.

Seriously guys, it's so tiring. We walked all day long, but it's nice experience. I got to visit München after so long. Couldn't get any happier.

Soooooo see you until the next post!

Bonus: big sized nutellas everywhere!

Bassbot Got Me Like

I don't know why do I like this song so much. The choreo is a plus. Maybe because Jibon danced to this song and he played the Taeyong role that's why I'm freaking out. I like Jibon. He's 19. Damn 19. I repeat. 19.

How can he be 19 with his amazing dancing skill? I'm 19 and I can't dance without my sisters laughing at me from behind.

I'm 19 and I like sleeping and eating.

Haha.

Kpop Mini Gathering (and the surprise I got)

Good afternoon guys!
On Sunday, April 10th 2016, there was a Kpop mini gathering held by one of dance cover agency (Ooh Entertainment) here in the city. It's basically a fanmeeting- okay, a little bit lame but I'm serious, one of the members of Yourfriend, a Boyfriend dance cover group from Bandung, come to the event and he is the main star of that event. His name is Rizky Sookyo. Or you can just call him Sookyo. A guy who has 27k followers in Instagram. Don't look at me. I don't have many followers like that. Don't look at me.

People said he looks like SHINee's Taemin. But actually it's true. I'm even surprised because he looks like Taemin. And he will be 21 years old this year. What a mindblown fact it is. I honestly came to the event because I want to see Jakeboys, one of dance cover groups in my city. They are EXO dance cover group (do you know how much I love EXO, right?) and they are performing in that event so, why not? They performed twice if I'm not mistaken.

AND THEN

In the middle of taking pictures of Sookyo, there was a guy who came from the front door and suddenly he yelled at Sookyo, "Aaaaaah kak Sookyo! Aaaaaaa!" At first I was laughing and keep taking pictures because I thought that maybe he is one of the staffs from the agency who held the event. And then I just stopped. Because. I think I know this guy. And basically he is not alone, there is a guy behind him. And then one of my friends shouted at me, "Kak Nuha! Itu Gema sama Jibon kak!" ("Nuha! It's Gema and Jibon!")

And then.

I stopped.

I fucking stopped.

And then I started to scream, oh damn I felt so lame now. Me and my friend were screaming and being histeric in our seat and I kept glancing at Gema and Jibon.
Oh, wait. Who are they?

Check the videos out if you are curious who are they. Jibon (Kak Ajie) and Gema are members of so many dance cover groups. But they mainly are members of WTF, a BTS dance cover group. Beside that, they are also members of XAP; a BAP dance cover group, Luminous; a SHINee dance cover group, and I don't know other than that. But after browsing their videos from Youtube for hours, I can conclude that they also dance with Chili, sometimes Poison, Gotcha, Rudiat, Joker, and many others. I told you, they are everywhere (udah kayak setan ae everywhere).

They can dance to any song, like literally any song. I'm fainted. They are super talented. I really have a thing for dance cover guys.

Ok, continue. So you can say that me and my friend were hyperventilating at that time after we saw Jibon and Gema. It's too surprising because I definitely always rant to my friend how much I love Jibon and I really want to see him dancing in real life. (2 months ago they performed in my city but unfortunately I couldn't attend because I was in Czech Republic. I was super sad.)

When I went to this Kpop mini gathering event, every Kpop song the event played reminds me of Jibon because he dances to every song. And I couldn't stop saying, "Kak, sumpah aku pengen lihat kak Ajie, aku mau lihat Jibon pake banget." ("Sist, I swear I want to see Ajie, I want to see Jibon dancing in real life. Very much.")

I literally saying that sentence non-stop in that event.

Why am I spazzing over you like seriously? I'm too lame.

Shit just got real when Jibon and Gema passing through the front door.

They were coming to this event because they want to promote their showcase in Yogyakarta on July 24th 2016 and I have to come just because.

They are so humorous. And cool. And charming. And I'm dead. No I'm kidding, HAHA. But they are so cool though, when people are asking them to do some choreos, Jibon said, "Mau lagu apa? Request aja," ("What song do you want? Just request,") It means they can dance to any song. Shit just got real.

After the event ended, I asked them to take photos with me. Gema was still eating something, and Jibon who looked at us, he nodded and said, "Oh boleh, mau foto sama Gema juga nggak? Fotonya dari sana aja ya, soalnya backlight," ("Oh okay, do you want to take picture with Gema also? Let's take picture from that angle because it's backlight over here,")

Kak Ajie baik banget sumpah demi apa, Jibon is super kind. They are so kind. Gema stopped from eating and went to us. I'm sorry :(

Their poses when they take photos are really funny. Keep going, dude. You have my back. I have to come to their Duckside showcase. I have to.

Okay, see you in the next post!
