I'm honestly so happy right now because my EXO lightstick ver 2 just arrived yesterday and I can't be anymore happy knowing that my long awaiting 3 months are worth it. To be really honest, I'm a little bit sad right now because of some things, but my lightstick is really making me happy. It looks so beautiful and so classy.
Okay first of all, there must be people who don't know what a lightstick is and what the function is. My friend even thought it's a flashlight, well, that's partly true, but like, it's more than that!
I love Kpop (I've been bragging and highlighting this so many times already), and I love EXO (well it's not a secret), and every fandom or every fans of every Kpop group has their own lightstick. EXO has their own fandom lightstick, and so do other Kpop groups. Each lightstick varies from one to another, and it's like, their identity? Like you can differentiate each fan looking from their lightstick. We use the lightstick to support EXO, and to show them that we come to the event they are in, and we are part of the fandom.
I've been bragging about whether I should buy EXO lightstick or EXO'rDIUM concert ticket in this post last February. Well, I made a decision by buying the lightstick because it's out of stock and it probably needs a decade to wait for it to be available again. The stock is so limited so I had to buy it fast, and that's exactly what I did. I ordered it on February, and SMent was producing it on April. And it arrived on late May. Well, 3 months of waiting.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT, there is no EXO'rDIUM concert in my country and I definitely don't know what to feel. I've been saving my money for this and then they decided to not holding a concert here. But it's okay, at least I get my lightstick! Fair enough.
The box of the lightstick is so neat and so classy if I may say. I didn't have the heart to open it and had the urge to just hug it forever. The box size is around 15 cm x 30 cm and there is an EXO logo on top of the box, and there's "EXO, Official Lightstick" written on one of the sides.
Call me stupid or anything, at first I didn't know how to open the box! I thought that I have to push on one side and then it will come out, but actually, I just have to open it like the way I open a pencil case. Well, at least I once had a pencil case looking like that. There is a hologram logo on the back of the lid of the box.
For your information, there are also fake lightstick on the market so people are scared to buy lightstick like this. I personally think this is a big matter, because I remember I had watched a video on Youtube last year about how to differentiate which one is the real EXO lightstick and which one is the fake one. It's being said that the fake one will have no EXO hologram logo on the back of the lid.
I feel relieved!

Consists of the lightstick itself, a white lightstick strap, the spare silver battery lid, and an envelope consists of a warranty card, instruction paper, lightstick stickers, and a photocard.
I almost squealed at how handsome all the members are on the photocard.
Friendly reminder that the real lightstick must have a warranty card and a SMent hologram on it. Please remember this in case you decided to buy it.
Oh! Once again, the lightstick is so huge and so heavy and I was like whoa hold on mate what the hell is this I'm holding right now but it absolutely looks gorgeous.
Oh, I forget to tell you about how I hate the part when I had to put the batteries inside the lightstick. I had to buy 3 batteries first at the supermarket because batteries are not available and not included. I was dreaded to put the batteries on, I had to watch some beginner for EXO-Ls videos on Youtube to master this battery department.
It's also difficult to put the battery slot inside the tube! I was struggling, and scared, truly scared, because it looks so fragile.

There is an EXO button on the lightstick and it will shine so bright once you push the button. When I say it's so bright, believe me, it's bloody hell too bright. You can push the button once to turn it on, and you can push the button again to make it blink every 1 second, and you can push the button once more to make it blink so fast your eyes start to water.
You can connect the lightstick using bluetooth to this application called Wyth, to make it change colours. So amazing.

I made a video of me turning it on in the dark so you can see it better. Sorry for some cursing I've done here in the video, well I'm human and human does say oh shit maaaan sometimes. Or it is just me.
